Dance

This was my first attempt in a long time at action photography. I had forgotten how much fun and how challenging it can be when you can't use any flash, but rather your camera and your brain. While I wasn't jumping out of the auditorium, I am pleased with some of the pictures I captured.

Close Up

Another favorite way to capture a child's beauty for me is with close-ups. With children, I don't feel you can ever get to close to capture the remarkable beauty that makes children's pictures so desirable.

Natural Light

I love to use natural light when taking pictures of children, especially black and white pictures. I feel that natural light, captures the beauty of a child better than any flash or artificial lighting can.

In this photo, I used only the sunlight coming in from the window and was very pleased with the results.

Babies

I love to photograph babies and young children. Their innocence is beautiful and breath taking.

In this photograph of two-week old Logan (right), I was able to catch him as he was at that time, eyes open and looking at the world.

Emma on the left offered my the chance to capture her personality and beauty in her first Easter outfit. Emma was 9 months old in the picture.

Babies always offer a unique group of photos, you never know what you may get and your always sure to love the pictures........
